Caring For Your Knife
Treat your knife as you would a fine firearm, and it will last you for generations to come.
When not in use, do not store your knife in it`s sheath. Leather absorbs moisture, which can lead to rust.
Another good idea is to keep a coat of car wax, or light oil on the blade when not in use, or in storage.
To keep your wood handles looking new, periodically wipe a coat of boiled linseed oil, or True Oil on them, then wipe off.
Never sharpen your knife on a grinder. It will destroy the temper of the steel, making it useless.
