I`ve been a full time knifemaker since 2008. Before that I was in manufacturing for 37 years, leaving the company I worked for when they moved production overseas. I do all the work on my knives, from profiling the blade one at a time from bar stock, through heat treating, and doing all the handle work. No part of the knife is farmed out, except that some of the sheaths are now made by my brother. All prices shown are for O1 high carbon tool steel.
